Dear Rider

History

Splitboard

Splitboard snowboards are best for climbing in the backcountry. These backcountry-specific boards split in half to create two skis and permit climbing on untracked backcountry slopes. You later reconnect the halves and ride downhill. It’s a great design for adventurous backcountry devotees who have the knowledge, skills and confidence to safely explore unpatrolled slopes. You’ll also need climbing skins and a split kit, usually sold separately.

Pow in every sense of the word, the Burton Family Tree Pow Wrench Splitboard is a powerful tool to have in your quiver come tour time. Its tapered design and added width help you stay on top of freshies for that floaty feeling only a surf-inspired shape can provide. Ready to split when the uptrack calls, the Pow Wrench features the Split Channel board mount to get you up on your feet and in your element faster

Terrain

Riders enjoy all kinds of terrain, from groomers at the resort or powder in the backcountry, to obstacles in the terrain park or the streets.
